Here is a classic early recording of the Clapham Primary School Year 7 Choir. This rare collectors item features some hits of that era conducted by teacher David Jackson. ( recorded at New Creation Studios – 1980)
Notable solo performance from Carmen Hill, with charismatic backing vocals from David Badran, Simon Curnow, Brian Connor Anthony Booth, Tania Wilson just to name a few.
I believe I featured on woodblock on Grandfather’s Clock. This was obviously the kickstart into drumming.
I was surprised to see that group photo also tucked inside the inner sleeve (cutting edge back in the day).
A nice little memento – even found my old Sony Walkman to play it on.
